 To my supporters and customers,

I wanted to address the situation with my store currently, as well as the inktober book preorders, as well as my lack of posting etc. If you’re reading this you’re probably waiting for your order to be shipped, and it has been a few months at least and for that I am so sorry. I am behind on orders and preorders and have been working to get caught up.

For those waiting on their inktober books; If you haven’t received my initial update about the books, they have arrived! I finally received the batch of shipments in February after a few years of creating the book, going through some major life changes, finding and working with multiple manufacturers after the pricing was raised drastically after pandemic complications with manufacturing and shipping, that hurdle was finally over and I have the books in my possession!

Now for the next hurdle; getting the books to you!

 A good amount of the books have some defects in which the spine splits off from the pages in the front, and I have come up with ways to fix it (and it actually turned out better and more sturdy than it was originally) as well as try and get the manufacturer to give me at least a partial refund.

Along with that issue, around the same time as receiving the books I had some personal emergencies and big life changes that ended up costing so much money. My cat Dumpling had to go into the ER twice in the span of three months, and racked up a bill of over $11,000. I had a cracked tooth and needed an emergency crown/surgery, my roommates moved out and I decided to stay and front the apartment myself, and at the same time there were some issues with my apartment plumbing caused a water bill of over $2,000. Those situations drained my money saved for shipping, everything has been a mess and I have been struggling mentally. I am not trying to blame these incidents for all of my problems, I should have been ready with an extra savings for these kinds of things and I fully blame myself for this. I dug myself into this giant hole and am trying to get myself out slowly. The stress has definitely taken its toll and I have been avoiding posting on social media, aside from youtube because of sponsors, because I’m so frustrated with myself for letting it come to this and for letting all of you down. You all are the reason I can do what I love for a living and I really appreciate all of you, I am so sorry for disappointing you and I hope that I can make it up to everyone somehow.

Anyway, I have been trying to stay afloat while also getting enough money to ship out orders, I am getting some financial help currently and have some art markets soon that will help fund shipping as well! I am trying to get to all of the emails too but please know that I have a couple hundred to get to and I am so sorry. I want to use this page as an update area, where I can post what order number I am currently packing so that you all might have some kind of time reference for when your order will ship. I am definitely willing to give refunds to those who don’t want the book anymore, but they may take some time as well. I am going through my emails as I pack the orders, making sure I have address updates and if you would still rather have a refund I will add you to a list and get through them as soon as I can.
